On Thu 9 Nov, Berlin femme-focused collective Hoe__mies makes its London debut at Peckham Audio with founder Meg10, London mainstay Vanessa Maria, Foundation FM’s Bushbby and Emma Korantema all performing.

The collective started out as a club night turned political statement against the monotony of a male dominated DJ and promoter scene. Since its inception in 2017, there has been a clear mission of emboldening the community by prioritising safety and showcasing female and genderqueer talent which has catapulted Hoe__mies into one of Germany’s most talked about femme-focused club nights.

Expect a broad spectrum of genres from Hip Hop, Dancehall & Afrobeats to Breakbeat, Electro and Techno. Hoe__mies is praised by many for not only championing awareness in the club space but also attracting the who’s who of international club music. Recent bookings include well-known favs like Jyoty, Toccororo, Half Queen, DREA, Blck Mamba Kikelomo, Zengxrl and many more.
