Based in Mexico City, MX by way of Caracas, Venezuela, Orestes is a bona-fide touring professional and music creative whose music is electrifying with avant-garde brilliance. Having performed and collaborated with artists like Yussef Dayes, Run The Jewels, Danny Ocean, Mcklopedia, Micro TDH, Los Amigos Invisibles, Sotomayor and more, Orestes is an emerging profile from an array of new wave, experimental percussionists that represent the breadth of contemporary jazz arising from Latin America and South America.

His most recent album Ascendentes, telling a story imbued with motifs of astrology and the mystique of the cosmos, arrived on March 3, 2023 via Acrylic Label. Be the first to hear the new record in person.
